Survivor: Vanuatu - Islands of Fire
the new season of survivor is premiering soon... really looking forward to that, coz vanuatu has exotic sceneries and the waters are really blue and the udnerwater life is really vast... although it is a chain of volcanic islands, the fertile soil of the islands brings lush greenery to the clear blue seas...
survivor will be held there and there's is no telling what sort of challenges the castaways will have to face... this time round, they adopted the men-vs-women format which was previously used in survivor: the amazon... i watched some of the episodes of survivor: the amazon and vanuatu may be a replicate of what happened in the amazon...
my guess on the challenges: quizzes on cannibalism, eat some goofy stuff, activities involving swimming... the immunity idol may be similar to that of the pearl islands, as they may have the axe and the skull, but there might be some additional features of the idol to present the uniqueness of this season's survivor...
the contestants do not really make a very huge impression in me, some of them are sheep farmers, while the rest are just some ordinary people trying to survive in the remote islands of vanuatu... so far, i do not have any favourites coz i don't know what their strategies are until neart the middle of the game...
maybe some bites on vanuatu, independent in 1980 after the condominium (what the hell...) by the british and the french... the local currency is the vatu, the capital city is port vila, and there are many resorts in vanuatu... however, there are still active volcanoes burning in the vicinity and they may erupt any moment, but i don't think it will happen during the show, or else it would not be telecasted on tv...
